Rockridge spring concerts coming up

A Rockridge High School Choir Concert has been set for Sunday,  May 17 at 2 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Mens, womens, mixed, senior choir and madrigal groups will perform under the direction Curtis Oelschlaeger.

The junior high spring concert is Wednesday night, May 20 at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium, featuring both the junior high band and chorus. On Thursday, May 21 at 7 p.m. the spring band concert will be held featuring the high school concert band and sixth grade band. There will be a combined work with both bands to end the concert.

The final concerts of the season will be held both Tuesday and Wednesday nights, May 26-27 at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium. This concert will feature the high school jazz band and show choir, as well as special numbers from individuals in the group. The show choir will perform a surfin' medley and some special numbers from Seussical. Tickets for this concert are $5 apiece and may be reserved by calling the Rockridge Choral Office at (309) 793-8020.
