Larry and Elda Mier to celebrate 50th anniversary

Larry and Elda Mier of Illinois City celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 3, 2009 with a family dinner.

Larry and Elda (Frieberg) were married May 3, 1959 at Illinois City Methodist Church.

They are parents of Rick (Lori) Mier, Don Mier, John (Diana) Mier, all of Illinois City. Their grandchildren are Jason (Katie) Jared, Erin (deceased) Megan, and Jacob. Their great-grandchildren are twin boys Ryken and Xavier.
