Blakeley Murdock and Matthew Welch wed

Blakeley Murdock of Goldsboro, N.C. and Matthew Welch of East Moline were united in marriage on Saturday, March 21, 2009, in front of the honorable Judge Odom in Goldsboro, N.C. Their mothers were there as witnesses to the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Leondra and Dan Magedanz, Aledo and Todd and Chris Murdock, Orion. The groom is the son of Teresa and Chuck Welch, Aledo.

An open house to honor the couple is being hosted at the home of the groom's aunt and uncle, Jim and Twyla Holmes, 902 E. Main St., Aledo on Saturday May 16, 2009 2-4 p.m. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.

The bride is a 2008 graduate of Aledo High School and is a crew chief for F 15 Eagles in the United States Air Force, stationed at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, N.C.

The groom is a 2008 graduate of Aledo High School and is currently attending BlackHawk College, Moline and employed by Lowe's in Moline as a plumbing specialist.

The couple will reside at 3409 East Ash Street, Apt. 17, Goldsboro, NC  27531.
