John and Leora Mayhew 50th wedding anniversary observed

Leora Quayle of Reynolds and John B. Mayhew of rural Reynolds were married on May 16, 1959 in Reynolds United Methodist Church with Rev. Lester Earp officiating.

They have farmed their entire married life in the Buffalo Prairie-Marston area, retiring in 2003.

They are the parents of one son John Clair (Jaycee) deceased in 1984 and they have one grandson.

They celebrated with a family dinner and visit from their grandson John Dale Mayhew of Jacksonville, Fla. and will take a trip to Alaska in August.
