Wedding planned for Cara Atkinson and Paul Svoboda

Cara Kristine Atkinson and B. Paul Svoboda are engaged. A ceremony for the couple will take place on June 6, 2009, at the First Baptist Church in Aledo at 3 p.m. with a reception following at the Mercer County VFW in Aledo at 6 p.m. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.

Cara is employed by Corn Crib Nursery and has an associates degree in horticulture sciences. Parents of the bride are John and Sue Atkinson, Aledo.

Paul is employed by Bosch Company and has an associates degree in general studies. Parents of the groom are Jaclyn Gisburne, Glenwood Springs, Colo. and Rodney Svoboda, New Boston.
