Bill and Donna Schutte to celebrate 50th anniversary
Bill and Donna Schutte of New Windsor will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Matherville, on Aug. 1, 2009 from 1-4 p.m. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. The couple requests no gifts, but please bring a favorite photo or story of times spent with Bill and Donna to share.
Bill Schutte and Donna Hamerlinck were married on Aug. 1, 1959, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in East Moline. Bill retired from Design Build in 2001. He has been a carpenter for many years and continues to farm in rural New Windsor. Donna worked as a bus driver for the Winola and Sherrard School Districts for 20 years and retired in 2000. They are members of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Matherville.
Their daughters are Kathy Schutte, Moline, and Debbie (Todd) Lantau, Andalusia. The couple have two granddaughters, Rachel and Shelby Lantau.
