Harlan and Pat King to celebrate 50th anniversary
Harlan and Pat King are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception on Sept. 12 at 5:30 p.m. at the Eliza Community Center with food and music/karaoke.
They were married Sept. 12, 1959 at the New Boston Methodist Church.
They have four children; Sherry (Bill) White of Bellevue, Iowa, Mary June (Randy) Duncan of Eliza, Sandy Carle of Aledo and Sam (Angie) King of New Boston. They will be hosting the party along with their 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. They would like to invite all family and friends to attend and request no gifts.
Harlan retired from construction and was also involved in farming. He likes to hunt with his many dogs. Pat likes to bowl and belongs to two leagues in Muscatine. They both like to spend time with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They both like to garden and raise goats and chickens. Come help them celebrate 50 years of fun and more to come.
