Duncans to celebrate 60th anniversary

Dave and Janice Duncan of Aledo are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, from 3-5 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Aledo. No gifts please.

Dave Duncan and Janice Castor, both of Aledo, were married Oct. 9, 1949 at Antioch Baptist Church in Marston.

Their children are Phil (Connie Lemon) Duncan, Marjie (Jim) Earl, Peggy (Steve) Johnson and Scott Duncan, all of Aledo. They have 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one due soon.

Dave is retired from farming and co-owner of Lafever and Duncan Implement. Janice retired from First Baptist Church, Aledo and Don R. Vickrey Insurance Agency, as a secretary.

They are members of the First Baptist Church in Aledo.
