Larry and Karen Robbins will celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

Larry and Karen Robbins will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. They will be honored at a reception on Oct. 17, 2009 at the home of Donnie and Tammy Cox located on Sycamore Street in Keithsburg. All relatives and friends are invited to attend from 2-8 p.m. The couple has requested NO GIFTS please.

Karen Munson and Larry  Robbins were married Oct. 16, 1959 at the First Christian Church in Keithsburg. Their children include: son, Tony (deceased in 1982), daughters, Tammy Cox and Terri Gibson, both of Keithsburg. They have six granddaughters and four great grandchildren.

Karen and Larry owned and operated the Lighthouse Tap & Restaurant in Keithsburg for 28 years. Larry also owned and operated Larry’s Floor’s and Interior, where he has just recently retired, one month ago.

Larry is a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Eagles Club. Karen enjoys baseball and is a member of the winter leagues team in Bonita Springs, Fla. Larry and Karen enjoy spending time with family and friends, camping and fishing.
