Jim and Joanne Anderson celebrate 45th anniversary

Jim and Joanne Anderson of Aledo were recently honored by their children and grandchildren for their 45th wedding anniversary. The celebration began with the couple and all four of their daughters and spouses renewing their wedding vows at College Avenue Presbyterian Church. The renewal ceremony was performed by Pastor Carl Stoldt. The ceremony was followed by a family dinner at Johnny's Italian Steakhouse.

James M. Anderson and the former Joanne L. Castor were married at the College Avenue Presbyterian Church in Aledo on Sept. 20, 1964. They are the parents of four daughters Kim (Jack) Sheese of Aledo, Pam (Kevin) Ricke of Aledo, Lisa (Doug) Price of Aledo and Tara (Sean) Battles of St. Louis, Miss. There were seven grandchildren including Alexandra, Kathryn and Jon Ricke, Jordan Sheese and Noah, Ethan and Emerson Price.

Jim is employed by Essig Motors Aledo and Joanne is employed by Dr. Dee Ahuja and Dr. Cheryl Faidley in Rock Island. The couple are members of the College Avenue Presbyterian Church.
