Rick and Maralee Murphy Celebrate 40th Wedding Anniversary

Rick and Maralee Murphy will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a party at Oak View Country Club, Aledo, 7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009. All friends and relatives are invited to attend; the family asks that gifts be omitted. The party will be hosted by the couple’s three children and spouses, Rick and Paige Murphy, Sara and Michael Kupper, and Jim and Tara Murphy. They will renew their vows at a family gathering earlier in the day, with Pastor Jim Murphy officiating. They were married Nov. 1, 1969 in Libertyville, and many members of the original wedding party will attend the celebration.
