Mercer County clubs celebrate National 4-H Wee

Mercer County 4-H Clubs will be celebrating national 4-H week Oct. 3rd -9th, with window displays featuring the theme “Meet the Future” along with others. These displays will be placed in local business windows. Also listen for Jareth Goderis and Paige Fowler’s  public service announcements on WRMJ radio promoting 4-H during national 4-H week.

Alexis All Stars 4-H Club is located in the Alexis area. They are a livestock & general project club. The main leaders are Jane Johnson and Julie Olson. Their window display will be located at Gregory’s Building in Alexis, Il..

Country Kids 4-H Club is located in the Viola area.  They are a livestock & general project club. The main leaders are Phyllis Nelson, Robin King and Erin Miller.  Their window display will be located at Morrison’s Market in Viola, Il.

Hamlet Handy Helpers  4-H Club is located north of Aledo in the Hamlet area. They are a general project club. The main leaders are  Dylis McCutchan, and Gayle Reid. Their window display will be located at MJH Engineering in Aledo, Il.

Joy-Eliza Ag 4-H Club is located in the Joy -Eliza area.  They are a livestock & general project Club. The main leaders are Al and Becky Hyett.

Kimel 4-H Club is located in the Aledo area. They are a livestock & general project club. The main leaders are Becky and Al Zwilling.

Mercer County 4-H Dog Club is located in the Aledo area. Members teach obedience to their dogs. The main leader is Loraine Kinsey.

Peppy Partners 4-H Club is located in the Aledo area. They are a general project club. The main leaders are Karen Dillet along with Tammy & Eric Bennett.

Saddle Teens 4-H club is located in the Viola area. They are a general project & horse club. The main leaders are Joyce Smith and Loraine Kinsey.  Their window display will be located at Greers Paint and Wallpaper Store in Aledo, Il.

Sunton Achievers 4-H Club is located in the Aledo- Sunbeam area. They are a general project & livestock club. The main leaders are Cara Ausmus and Nellie Goderis. Their window display will be located at the National Bank in Aledo, Il.

Tech club is a 4-H club located in the Aledo area. This club is for all the tech savvy 4-H members. The main leader is Cathy Hoffman.

Trail Blazers 4-H Club is located in rural Aledo. They are a general project & horse club. The main leaders are Cheryl Hank and Kathy Jahn.

Young Riders 4-H Club is located in the Sherrard area. They are a livestock & general project club. The main leader is Kirby McLaughlin.
