Looking for Christmas presents that aren't very expensive? Are your children or grandchildren asking where they can buy presents for parents, grandparents, their favorite aunt or uncle, or their friends? Then mark your calendars for Viola Public Library's Third Annual Children's Christmas Store on Dec. 11. Hours are 10 a.m. to noon for children, with adult buying from 11:30 a.m. to noon. The store will be set up at the Viola Community Center, next door to the library.

The store is sponsored by Book Buddies (friends of the Viola Public Library) and the library's Royal Neighbors of America Chapter 20066. Items for the store are provided through year-long fundraising and donations. Items for sale include lotions, jewelry, toys, tools, knick-knacks, scarves, hats, gloves and much more. Free gift-wrapping is available from members of the Miles Memorial Park Committee RNA Chapter.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will stop by to visit with children. Children can bring a letter for Santa with their wish list and, if they put their name and address on it, they will receive a letter back from Santa.

If you have any questions about the store, please call the library at 596-2620.
