How Does Your Paper Airplane Measure Up?
The supply list is simple (paper); the task is difficult (make it fly). There are millions of ways to fold a piece of paper, but what is the best way to make it soar? The Family Museum is holding a day of Paper Airplane Competitions on Saturday, Jan. 29 from 10 a.m. – noon and 1 – 3 p.m.. Museum facilitators will have two paper airplane designs for kids to try out, or guests can use their own paper airplane design. About every half hour there will be a friendly competition for the airplane that stays in the air the longest, for the plane that goes the greatest distance, and for the plane with the best stunt (flips and spins and whatnot). This friendly competition is open to kids of all ages and is included with the price of admission into the Family Museum.
