Muriel Carey to celebrate 90th birthday

Muriel Carey will be celebrating her 90th birthday with an open house on May 14, 2011. Family and friend are invited to attend, in the activity room at the Mercer County Nursing Home.

Muriel B. King was born May 13, 1921 in rural New Boston. She and Robert "Pat" Carey were married Aug. 20, 1941. He passed away Aug. 3, 1994.

Her children are: Cliff Carey of Milan; Eydie (Jack) Dean of Baja, Mexico; Peggy (Marlin) Gauley of Sherrard; and Faye Carey of Galesburg. Two sons are deceased. She also has 14 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
