Tom Miller turns 80

Tom Miller of Matherville will turn 80 years young on May 16. Friends and relatives are invited to help him celebrate at an open house on May 14 from 1 - 4 p.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Matherville.

Tom was born May 16, 1931 in Matherville. He and Sissy Corwin were wed on Sept. 15, 1956 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, where they are members.

He worked at the Rock Island Arsenal, retiring in 1992.

Tom and Sissy have two daughters Kim (Bob) Frakes and Deb (Bob) Weimann and one son Doug (Amy) Miller, all of Matherville. They also have nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
