Today, the Illinois Senate Redistricting Committee released a redistricting proposal for public review. State Senator Mike Jacobs (D-Moline) responded to today's release by encouraging the public to view the proposal at www.ilSenateRedistricting.com or

"This process has focused on public participation over the past several months by holding hearings throughout the state," Senator Jacobs said. "This information will be easily accessible on the Internet for the first time in the state's history.  I encourage anyone who is interested in the process to review the proposals online."
