Larry and Sue Parchert Celebrate 50th Anniversary

    Larry and Sue Parchert, Taylor Ridge, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, August 27 with a family dinner.

    Sue Wilks and Larry Parchert were married August 27, 1961 at Zion Lutheran Church, Taylor Ridge and have lived their entire married life in Taylor Ridge.

    Their children are Lisa (Jeff) Martens, Milan and Tom (Carol) Parchert, Illinois City. A daughter, Pam, is deceased. They enjoy attending activities of their five grandchildren, Allyson and T.J. Martens, Nathan, Ryan and Laikyn Parchert along with their many friends.

    Larry is retired as a rural mail carrier after 39 years, and Sue is retired from Augustana College.

    They are members of Zion Lutheran Church, Taylor Ridge.
