Dyke-Armstrong Engagement

Jodi Dyke and Kevin Armstrong of Urbana, together with their families, are pleased to announce their engagement. The couple will be united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. on June 9th, 2012 in an outdoor ceremony at the Allerton Park and Retreat Center near Monticello. A reception will follow at 6:30 p.m. at the same location. All family and friends are invited to join them.

Jodi is the daughter of Carl and Carol Dyke, Tuscola. She graduated Tuscola High School in 2004, and Eastern Illinois University in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences. She further graduated with a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2010. Jodi is currently employed as a Speech-Language Pathologist by the Vermilion Association for Special Education.

Kevin is the son of Leonard and Patricia Armstrong, Aledo. He is also the grandson of Leroy Armstrong, formerly of Viola. He graduated Aledo High School in 2000, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Crop Sciences. He further graduated with a master’s degree in Agronomy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2006. Kevin is currently finishing his Ph.D. in Crop Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Following completion, he plans to seek a faculty position in teaching and research of quantitative methods related to agriculture.
