Hillcrest Golf & Camping Resort to host Harvest Fest & Haunted Woods

Saturday September 24, Hillcrest Golf & Camping Resort in Orion is hosting a Harvest Fest in conjunction with The Whispering Winds Gourd Fest. From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Hillcrest Golf & Camping Resort transforms into an oasis of vendors and splendors. There are roughly 3000 people that visit and explore. They have a variety of goodies available. Just to name a few are Scentsy, Kettle Corn, Funnel Cakes, Ashes Candles, Mary Kay, Jeanie’s Dips & Confections and many more.

Served all day will be fresh, hot apple cider. They will have fresh apple wood smoked sturgeon for any fish lovers palate. Pumpkins for the kids will be available. Remember to bring your camera, large bales of hay and corn stalk decorations make for a great back drop for pictures.

 Friday September 30, Hillcrest Golf & Camping Resort will kick off the Haunted Woods. Join them for some spooky fun. $10.00 per person gets you a hayrack ride, and a tour through the Haunted Woods, The dates are every Friday & Saturday night September 30 - October 29. The volunteers to help with this event are the surrounding area high school students. The menu for Haunted Woods is: Witches Warts Chili, Slithering Salad, and Creepy Crawler Cupcakes the price is $5.00 or a new unwrapped toy. All toys donated to Toys for Tots.
