Kid’s Month at Galesburg Civic Art Center

The Galesburg Civic Art Center will hold its thirteenth annual Kid’s Month this January. Kid’s Month is sponsored by NAEIR and Target, and allows area children to create art and have it exhibited in the Art Center Gallery. Art creation hours will take place Jan. 3 – 18.

Art Creation Hours for Kids Month are as follows:

Monday, Jan. 3 – Friday Jan. 7 : 10:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Monday, Jan. 10 – Friday Jan. 14 : 10:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Monday, Jan. 17: Noon – 3 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 18: 4 – 6:30 p.m.

Children will be creating their own works of art over two weeks in January and the artwork will then be displayed in the Art Center Gallery from Jan. 21-28.  A closing reception will take place on Friday, Jan. 28 from 5-7 p.m. For more information, please contact the Galesburg Civic Art Center, 114 E.
