Your child’s health begins with you. Learn how to improve your child’s lifestyle, exercise, attitude and nutrition habits in the L.E.A.N. Start Workshop beginning Sept. 7 at Black Hawk College.
L.E.A.N. Start is a scientifically proven, clinically based program developed by Dr. William Sears for parents and caregivers of children ages 3-12. Participants will engage in hands-on activities, group interaction and expert instruction that focus on lifestyle, exercise, attitude and nutrition. The class will be taught by a certified L.E.A.N. coach.
The class will meet from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Sept. 7 to Oct. 12, at the college’s Outreach Center, 301 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline. The registration deadline is Friday, Sept. 2. Cost is $41 plus a $40 materials fee.
