Pre-teens, teens can make a fashion statement with BHC class

Youths ages 9-16 can celebrate their unique style and create their own fashion profile in the new Black Hawk College class, Make a Fashion Statement.

Students will learn how to pick fashions and fabrics that flatter their figure type and body line and will discover how to shop at affordable prices.

A class for ages 9-12 will meet from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8. The registration deadline is Tuesday, Sept. 6.

A class for ages 13-16 will meet from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15. The registration deadline is Tuesday, Sept. 13.

Each class is $19 and will be at the college’s Outreach Center, 301 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline.
