Mercer County Health Department Food Sanitation Courses

    The Mercer County Health Department will be holding a 15-hour Certification Course for Food Service Sanitation Managers who need to become certified with the Illinois Department of Public Health. The course will be held in the conference room at the Health Department in Aledo on Sept. 14 and 15 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is a $100 registration fee.

    Those in need of a 5-hour refresher course can attend 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on September 15. The fee for the refresher course is $30. *The refresher class must be taken prior to license expiring and the license fee must be paid to Springfield within 30 days of the expiration date.
