National Nursing Home Week kicked off at Aledo Rehabilitation and Health Care Center May 13 with a Mother's Day tea followed on Monday by a mayoral proclamation and presentation by Hospice Compassus. Commemorating the start of the week long celebration are (L-R): Gwen Gladfelter from Hospice Compassus, Aledo Mayor Bill Breeden, Aledo Rehab's Scott Widener and Josie Goben, and Aledo Rehab resident Norma Brooks.
