Mercer County Hospital and the Red Cross Partner to Save Lives
According to the American Red Cross, every two seconds someone needs blood and more than 38,000 blood donations are needed everyday in the United States. The blood used to save lives can only come from volunteer donors. Currently only 3 out of every 100 people in America donate blood.
To help support our local need for blood donations, Mercer County Hospital and American Red Cross are partnering to sponsor a blood drive on Wednesday, May 30 from 10 AM to 2 PM in the front parking lot of Mercer County Hospital. Appointments can be made by calling the hospital laboratory at 582-3727 from 8 AM to 5 PM. Walk –ins are welcome.
