Last weekend was so nasty weather-wise. Seaton had over seven inches of rain. Lots of basements flooded or at least had some water problems. All over western Mercer County people were having problems. Even though the weather was nasty on Saturday, the third annual Rob’s Ride for MDA/ALS went on as planned with 65 participants. One hundred and twenty shirts were sold and over $1,300 was raised for a donation to MDA/ALS. This event is held in memory of Robin Laughlin who passed away in August of 2005 from Lou Gehrig’s disease or ALS. The family appreciates the businesses that participated in the event and everyone who donated in any way.
