On Sunday afternoon Marjorie Smith attended a concert at Illinois State College in Peoria in which her son John was playing trumpet.

The Sugar Tree Grove Church will have its soup luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 2. They will be serving oyster, chili, broccoli cheese and vegetable soups along with the usual salads and desserts. DON'T MISS IT!

Doris and Lawrence Lee and friends attended the Gospel Concert at the Galesburg High School auditorium on Sunday afternoon.

Shirley and Bob Darrah spent Sunday in Dubuque, Iowa  visiting their son John and wife and grandchildren Olivia and Jason and their special friends.

Thursday evening Irvin Galusha entertained the following friends and relatives with a Pre-Halloween dinner. Present were Carol Guilinger of Roseville, Marge Simmons of Monmouth, Mildred Holford of Biggsville, Buele Burgland, Duane and Margaret Gemfem, Dotty Galverson, Audrey Wiffinger, Mildred and Eugene Galusha, Sally and George Hinton, all of Kirkwood.

The Little Cedar congregation enjoyed the song "Heaven Came Down and Glory Filled My Soul" sung by the adult choir last Sunday morning during worship.

The Ecumenical singers led worship on Sunday, Oct. 26.

Little Cedar U.P. Church will hand out treats on Friday, Oct. 31 from 5 until 7 p.m.

On Saturday Nov. 15 come to the Little Cedar Church and enjoy the "Fun Supper" from 5 until 6:30 p.m. for children grade school age through junior high.
