Tuesday, Oct. 21 Rockridge Rockets, wearing pink to honor awareness for cancer research, swept Sherrard for an Olympic Conference match-up, 25-23, 25-17 in the girl's volleyball game at Sherrard.

Next week class 2A Sherrard Regionals will play on the same floor. Rockridge is trailing only Orion. The games are Thursday, Oct 30 with the title game on Saturday, Nov. 1.

You may attend a public flu clinic at Edgington, Monday Oct. 27, 9-11 a.m. and at Reynolds Legion Bldg. on Wednesday Nov. 12, 1-3 p.m.

Pearl Gordon is now a patient in Aledo Rehabilitation and Health Center and receiving therapy twice a day. She had a broken hip and was a patient at Trinity West Hospital for therapy.

Friday, Oct. 24 Rockridge Rockets football team was defeated by Orion Chargers, 48-8, on a cold, drizzly evening, it's the end of the season.

The annual Halloween Party was held Sunday, Oct. 26 at the American Legion in Reynolds. There were 72 costumed participants. Approximately 175 people in attendance were served hot dogs, donut holes and pop.

Tami Parchert provided music for marching before the judges, Mary Jean Parchert and Lila Mae Sipes. Each of the 72 participants received a monetary prize.
