Helen Jane Nicol spent Friday and Friday night in the John McCann home in Oneida. Mary Ann and John's daughter Corey of Arizona spent from Wednesday until Sunday with her parents.

Doris and Lawrence Lee and their card club "The Biggsville Bunch" had supper last Saturday evening at "The Livermore" in Aledo, then returned to the Lee home for the evening.

Mary and Don, Sue and Tom Bertelsen were in Rock Island Sunday to visit their new great-granddaughter, Nora, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andy Bertelsen and Nora's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Bertelsen.

Ora Meyers celebrated his 80th birthday with an open house at the Seaton Café Saturday, Nov. 22.

Don't forget the Thanksgiving Eve service at 7 p.m. on Nov. 26 at the Little Cedar Church.

Nov. 30 is the first Sunday in Advent and the Little Cedar congregation will decorate the church in the afternoon, with soup and sandwiches to follow.

The Little Cedar Congregation enjoyed the special music by Windy Noles and her children last Sunday morning.

Exercise is good for you, unless you get it by patting yourself on the back.
