Stephen and Melissa Rousey, Bloomington, are the parents of their first child, a daughter, that was born Tuesday, Jan. 6 in Broman Hospital, Normal. Her name is Emily Marie Rousey.
Darlene Robertson, Alexis, will celebrate her 90th birthday at an open house this summer.
The former Darlene Reagor was born Jan. 14, 1919, in Galesburg.
She married Charles Robertson, Sept. 14, 1949, in Galesburg. He is deceased.
Charlie and Darlene farmed in the Rio and Alexis areas. She worked as a mental health technician at the former Galesburg Mental Health Center, retiring in 1981.
She is the mother of Patricia (Gary) Dobereiner, Moling; and the late Sandy Napier. There are five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Cards would be appreciated at this time.
Word was received of the death of Mary Gale Vilet, 88, Medapolis, Iowa. She died Dec. 23 in Great River Hospice House, Burlington, Iowa.
Gale and her late husband, Rod, owned and operated Vilets Station at four-mile Y, west of Alexis, for many years.
Josh and Carrie Elliott, Macomb are the parents of a baby girl, that was born Nov. 28. She was named Alexis Grace Elliott.
Grandparents are Herb and Jennifer Burns, rural Alexis, and Steve and Polly Elliott, Monmouth.
Evelyn Liggett, Rosewood Care Center, Galesburg, and formerly of Alexis, celebrated her 85th birthday Jan. 10.
She and her husband, Harold, who also resides at Rosewood are the parents of Carrie Cina, Sussex, Wisc., Bob Liggett, Hot Springs Village, Ark., Nancy Lundquist, Galesburg, and Dan Liggett, Houston, Texas. She has eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.

Word was received of the death of Brian Crafts, 46, Davenport, Iowa. He died Dec. 21 at home.
Brian was the grandson of the late Carl and Ruby Swanson of North Henderson.
