Rockridge girls' basketball team defeated  Monmouth-Roseville 48-32 Thursday, Jan. 8 at Rockridge. Hailey Kitchell, Hillary Johnson, Lexi Frakes and Chelsey Widdop led the scoring. The girls' team defeated Bettendorf High School Saturday Jan.10 at the Kitcken Cooked Bi-State Shootout at Blackhawk College, 48-37. The game was tied 17-7 at halftime.

Dwight Swartz, Sherrard, sold Reynolds Funeral Home, 801 W. Edgington St. to Steven and Cynthia Pressly.

Susannah Circle was cancelled Monday Jan. 12. Rockridge Rockets basketball game with Farmington at Rockridge was cancelled to be Monday Jan. 12. The Citizen's Party nominations are Dick Curry - four year term, Leonard Knox - two year term, Chris Rowe - four year term, and Nick Miller.

The Progressive Party nominated Joe DeMarlie - Mayor, Mark Allen - Clerk.
