Mr. and Mrs. Alan Beals and son Enzo, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Byron Carlson and sons, Bloomington; Mrs. Margaret Doonan, Friendship Manor; and Mrs. Jane Cumby were Sunday dinner guests March 22 of Mr. and Mrs. Tracy Doonan. Mr. and Mrs. Allan Biala and son were weekend guests and returned to Chicago on Monday.

Jim Doonan suffered a heart attack and was a patient at Trinity West Hospital. He was able to return home Monday, March 23. He had two stents and will recuperate at home. Melvin Blaser were the guest of honor for his birthday, Thursday, March 19, in the home of Beulah Venable. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Venable, Chelsey Oak and Mel and Susan Blaser were guests.

Saturday, March 21, at 1 p.m. Susan Blaser and Holley Begyn attended a doubleheader baseball game at University of Iowa, Iowa City to watch Tyson Blaser play.

Mrs. Marllene Philliyes reported on the chicken noodle supper held on Thursday, March 12. Five hundred and seventy-eight people were served, $3,400 was the money earned. There are a few more bills and some money yet to be collected. We thank everyone who ate and helped with the supper, Tuesday, March 24, the Lenten Service was held at Edgington Presbyterian Church.

Easter flower orders were taken by Colleen Hessman at the Reynolds Methodist Church. Your choice may be tulips or daffodils.

Kristi Lane (bride of Ben Keller) was honored at a bridal shower, Sunday, March 22, 2:30 p.m. at Edgington Presbyterian Church. Relatives and friends were guests.

Lovely banners by Karen Gillett depicting the Easter season were on display Sunday at the Reynolds Methodist Church.

Mr. and  Mrs. Dale Armstong, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Holstine, Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Oak, arrived back in Reynolds from their winter vacations this week.

The adult choir presented a special number Sunday, March 22, during the morning worship. John McCutchan accompanied them on the piano.
