The Seaton Park District is looking for a responsible adult or couple to run the concession stand at the ball diamond for the summer. The person, couple or family that decides to do this project would purchase the supplies to get started and would be reimbursed for them. Electricity and appliances are provided. The Park District usually has parents of a ball team player take on this project for the years they are involved in the program. Interested persons can call Ed Tarr at (309) 224-3385.

Ed and Renea Anderson had a supper on Sunday night at the home of their eldest daughter, Toni Weeks and her husband Mark for Toni's birthday. Toni and Mark's daughter Morgan and boys Matthew and Mason, along with Ed and Renea's youngest daughter Joni Sharar, her husband Andy and their children Anna and Nathan of Muscatine were all there. Scott and Judy Weeks of Aledo joined them for the birthday celebration.

Gene Hofer had a birthday on March 31. His little 18-month-old grandson Owen sent birthday wishes to his "papa" from New York, where he lives with his parents, Ben and Amanda Kemp.

Jeff and Kathy Smith of rural Keithsburg are celebrating their 7th wedding anniversary on April 6. Jeff and Kathy moved from rural Seaton a couple of years ago. 

Bob and Barb Bird are celebrating their 49th wedding anniversary on April 9. Ed and Brandi Tarr celebrated their sixth anniversary on March 15.
