Dan Springer is out of the hospital and doing better after the spell he had with his heart. Bob Stockham suffered a heart attacked on Thursday of last week and had a triple bypass at Trinity West on Monday, May 4. He is supposed to get home on Thursday if he is doing all right.

The Seaton Library Board met on Tuesday, May 5 at the library with new board member, Nikki Holmes present. New books now available include "Pipiolo and the Roof Dogs" by Brian Meunier, "Why Did the Chicken Cross the Road", "Just When I thought I'd Dropped My Last Egg" by Kathy Lee Gifford, and "Always Looking Up" by Michael J. Fox.  Also check out these new books: "Just Breathe" by Susan Wiggs, "90 Men in Heaven" by Don Piper, "Girls in Trucks" by Katie Crouch, "Three Willows The Sister Hood Grows" by Ann Brashares, "Echoes from the Dead" by Johan Theorin and Marlaine Delargy, "Little Giant of Aberdeen County" by Tiffany Baker, "8th Confession, The Women's Murder Club" by James Patterson and "Deadlock" by Iris Johnsen. Ida Steepleton had breakfast at Denny's Restaurant in Moline last Sunday with her brother-in-law and nephew Walt and Art Kester from the West coast. They were back in the area to attend Walt's 60th class reunion from Iowa Wesleyan College.
