(May 25, 2009) Megan and Bob Cook of St. Charles were week-end guests of Megan's parents, Cheryl and Barry Free.

Jon and Jared Perrin of Lindenwood, were Saturday night guests of Bob Perrin. On Sunday afternoon Donnie, Marilyn and Wilbur Perrin of Monmouth joined Bob in a visit to the Keithsburg cemetery.

Kathleen Worthington accompanied by two sisters and brother-in-law, Willa and Bill Jefferson of Macomb, Mary Wurtzburger of Roseville and brother Tom Ewing of Rockford traveled to Owatonna, Minnesota Cemetery for a Memorial to their sister, Evelyn Yodgar of Bushnell who recently passed away.

Ben, Joe and Faith Worthington of Rochelle are spending a few days with their grandparents Kathleen and Lyle Worthington.

Mary and Don Bertelsen's daughter Sally Hannaman of Nashville, Tenn. spent the weekend with them. On Sunday their grandson and wife Andy and Sara Bertelsen spent the day with them.

Bruce Carver of Fuquay Varina, N.C. flew in last Tuesday for a few days to spend with his family, the Howard and Jeff Carvers.

Women's Bible Study for Little Cedar will meet Thursday at 1:20 p.m. at the home of Gladys Free.

Little Cedar will continue to collect non-perishable food and paper products for Starting Point's food pantry.

Greeters for the month of June are: 7th- Jim and Debra Darrah, 14th-: 21st- Lane and Karen Fredrickson and family, 28th-Mike and Pat Fredriskson.

It now costs more to amuse a child than it once did to educate his father.
