Friends and family of Caroline Douglas are invited to a noon potluck luncheon on Tuesday, June 23, at Center Presbyterian Church in Seaton.  Drinks will be furnished. Caroline has moved to Monmouth and we will certainly miss her in our community.

Center Presbyterian Church celebrated the graduations of several members of their church Sunday, June 14th. Those included were: Cydnee Stockham from Aledo Preschool, Victoria Stockham from Sherrard High School and Alex Eisle from Harvard High School. Master's degrees were awarded to Brenton Bush from Bradley University in mechanical engineering, Jeffrey Duncan from the University of Wisconsin in agricultural engineering, and Mandy Sheriff from St. Francis Hospital in the science of nursing education. Dixie Greer and Janet Millet served refreshments after church for all of those attending.

Good news- Lyle Hall did not have a heart procedure when he was hospitalized last week as was reported. He is feeling better.

Several Seaton people were at the Joe Garland auction held last Sunday on Joe's farm north of Seaton. Don and Addie Hollinrake were back from northern Iowa where they live now. They farmed for Joy several years ago before Roger Brooks took over. It was a visit with them.

The Seaton High School reunion was held Saturday afternoon at the Depot in Aledo. Marilyn Hollembaek and Edwina Wright were in charge of the event. Cake, punch and coffee were served. This event is held every three years.

On June 27 the sixth annual Power Reunion will be held in Seaton. There will be breakfast served by the Youth of Center Presbyterian Church at the Community Center. There will a 12-mile drive for the antique tractors, kids' games and a cake walk in the afternoon. The firemen are serving lunch at the Fire Station. It is a fun day for the whole family to enjoy!
