Lyle and Kathleen Worthington were in Rochelle last Wednesday to help their grandson Ben celebrate his 13th birthday.

David, Linda and Kim Dutton attended a family gathering, July 4, at the home of Nick, Krystal, and Asher Carlson. Also attending the cook-out were Jim and Missy Bennett and family of Rosetta, Matt Dutton of Alexis, Lyndsay, Kayla, and Jayla Bennett of Galesburg, Russ and Julie Carlson of Kirkwood, and Whitney Pullen of Monmouth and Matt Simpson of Aledo. The family got together on the following day, as Nick and Krystal hosted a party for their son Asher’s second birthday, at Happy Joe’s Jungle Bungle in Davenport. Don and Julie Bridgewater and family also attended the party.

Marjorie Smith’s son John and his family of Farmington spent the weekend with her. Her granddaughter Katy Banks and her family of Pampa, Texas spent three days with her also.

Bob and Shirley, Jerry and Kris with daughter Katie Darrah, Denise Dixon of Burlington, Iowa enjoyed supper in Burlington to celebrate the 13th birthday of Emily, younger daughter of Jerry and Kris. They returned to the Bob Darrah home for the cake and ice cream.

Maxine Stoutt entertained with a family supper last Sunday evening. Present were Brad, David, Megan, Sky, Isaac, and Kylie Stoutt. They were celebrating David’s birthday.

The Mother’s of Twins club met and had lunch Tuesday at Dew’s Diner in Little York and Maxine Stoitt joined them.

Rida Penny of Moline furnished special music for the Little Cedar congregation last Sunday morning when she sang three beautiful songs.

There will be no Women’s Bible Study this Thursday.

Bible School on August 3 until the 7 with the program on the 10.
