Lindsay Bennett, daughter of Mark and Kelly Bennett, graduated from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb with a degree in biology, in May. She will continue her education in a nursing program.

We express our sympathy to the family of Mrs. Katherine Zachert.

On Sunday, July 12 the George Mueller Reunion was held at the Reynolds Legion Building. Officers elected for next year were President - Robert Winegard; Vice President - Larry Parchert; Secretary - Ruth Adams; Treasurer - Keith Parchert. Oldest present - Beulah Venable, Youngest was Jakob Hofer, son of Derick and Amy Hofer. There were 49 members present.

Eighty-six winter Texans from Paradise Park and Mercedes, Texas attended a potluck dinner at Reynolds American Legion Building, Thursday, July 9. There were people from seven states: New York, Nebraska, Missouri, Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa and one Canadian Province - Ontario. Local residents attending were John and Emogene Kimball, Ivan and Darlene Fuhr, Tom and Betty Phipps, Sandra Higgins, Walter and Gergeiabelle Holsting, Cliff and Mary Stewart, Donna and Carroll Dunlap, Gordon and Marge Pape, Doug and Janet McCaw, Don and Eileen Hampton, Barb Hampton and Francis and Donna Mack.

Susannah Circle was held Monday, July 13 at the Reynolds Methodist Church. Lucille Elliott and Helen Peterson were hostesses. Helen Peterson presented the lesson. There were eight members present.
