Emily Darrah spent a recent day with her grandparents Shirley and Bob Darrah while her parents took her older sister Katy to start college at Iowa State in Ames, Iowa.

On Friday, Shirley and Bob Darrah met their son John and wife Kathy and their family for lunch at Benningtons in Coralville, Iowa. They were celebrating John’s birthday, John and Kathy’s wedding anniversary and Eric’s 21st birthady.

Lyle and Kathleen Worthington, accompanied by cousins from Holland, Michigan and Flanagan, attended the Worthington family reunion, with about 120 relatives gathered in Bushnell on Sunday.

Jim, Gladys, Cheryl and Berry Free spent the weekend with Megan and Bob Cook at St. Charles. Gladys and Jim spent Saturday night with Mary Ann and Stan Free in Yorkville.

Marjorie Smith attended the funeral in Peoria of David Nimmo of Hanna City, son-in-law of the late Halden Smith. On her way home, she spent Saturday night with her granddaughter Jenny Hatch and her family in Edwards.

Jim and Debbie Darrah accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Ed Orterry of Lake Warren were Sunday guests of their son and family, Steve, Kim and Rachel Darrah in Lincoln.

Irvin Galusha accompanied Cherry and Dave Simmons and Tom Galusha to Chicago to attend the Saturday night wedding of Irvin’s granddaughter Missy Eiserman.
