Jane, Brittany, and Stehanie Schultz, Holley Begyn and Tyson Blaser attended "Peter Pan" at Circa 21 to support Miss Illinois Pre Teen, Peyton Tucker, member of the cast. They attended on Sunday, Aug. 16.

Thursday, Aug. 13, Lauren Whitney underwent gall bladder surgery at Trinity West Hospital. He is recooperating at home.

Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Harrison entertained at a potluck supper for family, neighbors and friends on Saturday, Aug. 23. The treat was Edy's slow churned ice cream won by Mrs. Harrison in a contest.

Karen and Jerry Gillett went to the Nascar races in Bristol, Tenn. Sunday Aug. 16 to Sunday Aug. 23.

Rockridge District 300 had a half-day of school Friday, Aug. 21. Monday, Aug. 24 was the first full day of school.

Mark and Doris Bell, Judy and Jeff Smith, Neil and Gaynor Nylin, Nick and Alison Watson and sons, Caitlynn and Merideth Wise, Bill and Sandy Dowd, D.J. and Donald Sheriff, Donald and Norma Tippie went camping at West Lake in Davenport the Aug. 14-16 weekend. They enjoyed paddle boating, swimming, bike riding, and camp fires.

Amanda Curry, Carl Sandburg College; Amanda VanWaele, Northern Illinois University; Chelsey Widdop, Monmouth College; Ashley Widdop, St. Ambrose University; Holley Begyn, Western Illinois University; Tyson Blaser, University of Iowa; Eric Curry, Northern Illinois University; Haley Kitchell, Illinois Wesleyan University; Lindsay Bennett, St. Anthony's Nursing School, Rockford; Nathan Harroun, Monmouth College; Chelsey Harroun, Western Illinois University; Hayley Jones, college not known.

Mel and Susan Blaser, Holley Begyn and Tyson Blaser were supper guests of Beulah Venable, Saturday, Aug. 22 before college starts next week Aug. 24.
