Marty and Sheldon Farwell enjoyed a few days in Door County, Wis. On the way home they picked up their grandson in Milwaukee, Wis and he enjoyed a visit with them. After the fun time, Marty had her knee replaced which was scheduled. So she is exercising and thinking of her fun two weeks prior to surgery. Keep the exercise program up!
Also in the neighborhood, Sharon Berghefer had her knee replaced. So we will see which of these ladies will win the race of rehab!
We wanted to welcome James Bishop to the area. He is staying at present with Lori and Bill Jarrett. James was from the Joy area and his parents moved to Sheffield for retirement.
The County Line Ministerial Association held its combined church service at Illinois City United Methodist Church Sunday Evening. Those churches represented were Buffalo Prairie, Edgington, Hamlet-Perryton and Reynolds and guest ministers from Westmer Larger Parish.
Levata Bear and Evelyn McGinnis went to Lake Storey in Galesburg for the Tapscott reunion last Sunday. They enjoyed a potluck dinner and visiting in the afternoon. Evelyn's mother was of the Tapscott family.
Larry and Elda Mier enjoyed a trip to the Farm Progress Show in Decatur last week.
Kim and Barb Freyermuth celebrate an anniversary on Sept. 4 and Darrell and Peggy Dekeyrel celebrated one Sept 9. We wish you many more.
