Mercer Foundation for Health benefit dinner set for Sept. 17

The 18th annual Mercer Foundation for Health benefit dinner and auction has been set for Thursday evening, Sept. 17 at the VFW Hall in Aledo.  Mercer Foundation for Health sponsors the fund-raiser for Mercer County Hospital each year. Social hour starts at 5:30 p.m. with the dinner at 6:30 p.m. Both a silent and a live auction will be held with many exciting bidding opportunities available. Some of the auction items include a suite for a Mallard's game, guitar signed by Suzy Bogguss, sheet music signed by Keith Urban and Taylor Swift, bread baking class, Isabel Bloom figurine, hay rack ride with wiener roast, stained glass art work, wildlife print, meat bundle and steak bundle, sports tickets and a hand braided rug.

Sue Sutton, Mercer Foundation for Health benefit dinner chairperson, said, "The theme for this year's event is "Health Care's Season of Change." Funds generated from this event will be used to purchase equipment for the patients at Mercer County Hospital. We hope you can join us for a fun and rewarding evening."
