Ione Ketzle Gobble, Mesa, Ariz. passed away Tuesday, Aug. 25. We express our sympathy to the family.

Dale Armstrong came home Wednesday, Aug. 26 after two months stay in Heartland Nursing Home, Moline and check-ups in the Trinity West Hospital.

The personnel at the Reynolds Grade School for the coming year are: principal Tina Sims: janitor Cara Kadel; custodian-cook Kitty Miller; Lisa Powell, assistant cook; Nancy Huffman, secretary; Colleen Bestian, Anna Jerzyk, Andrea Mulkey and Karen Ruden, aides; teaching staff - kindergarten Brenda Marple; 4th grade, Karen Ide, Lisa Williams; 5th grade Gina Rowe, Pam Whittington; 6th grade, Jim Nichols, Amanda Morford; resource room, Lorri Lund, Amy Benac; Title 1 language, Lindsey Williams; P.E. teacher, Linda Coulter; music, Trina Clementz; art, Dawn Huffstutler; speech, Veronica Schroeder and 6th grade band, Jennifer Zeglis.

Rockridge high school boys' first football game was Friday, Aug. 28 with Princeton. Rockridge won. The Princeton coach was Rick Amy's son. The game was at Rockridge.

Dick and David Curry attended Friday and Saturday, Aug. 28 and 29 the 56th World Series of Drag Racing at Cordova Drag Strip.

Graydon and Marilyn Kranz visited the Mayo clinic, Rochester, last week for a check-up. They ate breakfast with Irene Horton on Thursday, Aug. 27. They ate supper with Bill Westerland and wife, former Sherrard Power employee on Wednesday, Aug. 26 at Mayo Clinic.

Sunday Aug. 30 we enjoyed Bob Fitzpatrick as lay speaker at Reynolds Methodist Church. Our pastor was ill.

Stephanie Schultz, Reynolds, is a contestant for the Milan Indian Summer Festival, Friday through Sunday, Sept. 4-6.
