Rockridge Rockets girls' volleyball team defeated Knoxville Sept. 9, Wednesday and Farmington on Sept. 10 at Rockridge. Macomb Bombers defeated Rockridge to even Olympic Conference mark, 2-2 on Sept. 22 at Rockridge.
In boys' football team Rockridge defeated Monmouth-Roseville Friday, Sept. 18 at Rockridge 20-12.
Norma Doering, her son, Ron and Mary Doering spent a few days visiting with her sister Mrs. Jane Cumby. Mrs. Norma Doering's address is Summit Lake, Wis., and her son, Ron and Mary live in Eau Claire, Wisc.
The Reynolds Methodist Church had two new banners presented Sunday, Sept. 28. They were made by Karen Gillett.
A "Hymn sing" service was held Sunday morning. Tami Clark was song leader and Darren Hall and Rev. Beth Tickner gave the story of the hymns.
Dorothy Armstrong returned Saturday, Sept. 19 in the afternoon from Trinity West Hospital.
The Reynolds class of 1959 celebrated its 50th anniversary party Saturday, Sept. 19 at Stoney Creek Inn, Moline. Steve and Sandi Mueller, Dick and Bonnie Curry, Sharon and Bob Curtis, Wanda Swartout Miller, Bob and Dixie Purvis, Carol and Dick Carlson attended from our area. Out of state people attended from California, Texas and Alabama.
Barbara Seitz Pearson presented a memorial of past classmates of the anniversary class.
Merrill and Mary Allen left Tuesday, Sept. 22 for Mayo Clinic for a check-up.
Sunday, Sept. 20, James and Barbara (Huggins) Hofer celebrated at their daughter's home- Alan and Lucy White. They enjoyed a buffet luncheon at noon. Friends and the original wedding party were guests. Their daughter Jennifer Hofer attended from Detroit, Mich.
