The Reynolds Senior M.Y.F. fall breakfast will be Sunday, Oct. 18, 7-10 a.m. at the Reynolds Legion Building.
Saturday, Sept. 26 was the occasion for a birthday party for Vera Stout celebrating her 90th birthday. It was held at the Edgington Presbyterian Church, and attended by family and friends.
Out-of-town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Flowers and daughter Payton, Sun Prairie, Wis.
Dick and Bonnie Curry attended the Aledo High School "Class of '59" 50th class reunion hosted by Donald Johnson. The meal was catered by Moon River Supper Club. Guests were present from as far as California and Texas.
Ellis and Jean Doonan, San Antonio, Texas came to attend services for Tom Fitzpatrick, Indiana. While they were here they visited their sister, Mr. and Mrs. Graydon Kranz and families, her son, Fred Ericson and family, Sherrard, and Ed, Sarah, and Zac Cupp, Moline.
Saturday, Sept. 26, 11-1 p.m. the Country Bank of Edgington served an appreciation lunch for its patrons.
Donna Abrego was liturgist on Sunday, Sept. 27 and honored the congregation with a solo during the offertory at the Reynolds Methodist Church.

Dale Armstrong is a patient since Monday, Sept. 28 at Terrace Park, Hospice Unit, Bettendorf, Iowa.
Hamlet Mutual Insurance Co. held a retirement party Sept. 19 in honor of Jim Marshall. In attendance at the Outing Club in Davenport, was Jim's family and the staff and board of directors of Hamlet Mutual. Jim had been an agent with Hamlet Mutual for 29 years.
The monthly breakfast for Texas winter group was Wednesday, Sept. 20 at the Edgington Restaurant. About 20 retirees were able to attend.
