Frank and Sandra Venable entertained on Saturday, Oct. 10 Mrs. Vera Stout, Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Oak, and Beulah Venable. Vera Stout’s birthday was Sept. 26 and Frank Venable’s birthday was Oct. 2.

Tucker Blaser, St. Louis, Mo., ruptured his achilles tendon on his left foot playing basketball. He had surgery on Friday, Oct. 9. He has a cast and uses crutches.

Sunday, Oct. 11 the children’s choir, with Lauren Hoffman, a soloist, sang “Jesus Loves the Little Children” at our Reynolds Methodist Morning Worship. Doug Rettig delivered the sermon, ‘Other Religions.’

Next Sunday, Oct. 18 is our fall breakfast with worship at Reynolds Legion Building. The breakfast is 7-10 a.m. with services following.

Susannah Circle met with Carol Whan, Viola, Monday, Oct. 12. Lucille Elliott, president presided. Carol Erickson presented the lesson. Six members were present.

Halloween Dad’s Club Parade will be Sunday, Oct. 18 at 1 p.m. in Moline. Holley Begyn and Brittany Schultz will participate on one float. Sci-Fi is the theme of the parade.

Trick or treat hours for Reynolds are Saturday, Oct. 31, 4-7 p.m.
