(Oct. 26, 2009) Hillary Campbell, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russ Campbell recently spent three days in Indianapolis, Ind. at an F.F.A. convention.
Debra and Jim Darrah, Darlene Barman and Bob Perrin met Ruth Ann Dutton at Happy Joes in Aledo for supper last Friday evening. After they ate the group went to Mrs. Dutton's home to visit.
Shirley and Bob Darrah attended the Down's Cousin reunion held Sunday noon with a pot-luck dinner at the Kirkwood Senior Center. About 30 of the cousins attended.
Marjorie Smith enjoyed a birthday supper when her family gathered at the home of Kathy and Dave Erlandson of Kirkwood to help her celebrate.
After visiting her sister Helen Jane Nicol for a week, Gertrude Hickok returned Sunday to her home in Los Altos, Calif.
Kathleen and Lyle Worthington spent last Friday in Rochelle for Grandparents Day at St. Pauls Elementary School where their grandchildren attend.
Evelyn Neal spent the past weekend in St. Louis where she attended a baby shower for her grandson and his wife on Saturday afternoon.
World Community Day will be Nov. 6 at the Lutheran Church in Monmouth, reservations are due on the 2nd, please contact Maxine Stout.
Next Sunday the Sugar Tree Grove Church will be having their annual soup luncheon from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The Little Cedar congregation enjoyed "It is no Secret" sung by the Adult Choir.
Logo's will be Wednesday evening at Little Cedar Church.
