Rockridge won the boys Cross Country Olympic Conference team title Tuesday, Oct. 20 at Orion. Sue Miller is the Rockridge coach, Coby Merritts-Armey, Addison Kistler, and Matt Stine were leading finishers, for Rockridge.

Jennifer Duyvejonck is the new softball coach at Rockridge. She will replace Tracey Logue, who guided the Rockets to several state series berths as well as the state championship in 2005. Jennifer Duyvejonck has coached Rockridge J.V. Softball team the past two years.

Saturday, Oct. 31 was the real estate sale of property of Mary Gauley. The personal property sale will follow.

Rockridge girls’ and boys’ cross country teams qualified Saturday, Oct. 24 with the Rocket girls taking third and the boys fifth in the Sherrard regional at Credit Island Park. The girls’ efforts were led by Pederson and Schickel. The boys’ efforts were led by Coby Merritts-Armey’s seventh place run.

Dick and Bonnie Curry attended a brunch at Risky’s at noon Sunday, Oct. 25. This is a new choice for Sunday. In the afternoon they visited Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Rushton at Eldridge, Iowa.

Mr. and Mrs. Matt Randazzo brought their new little son, Charles, to the Reynolds Methodist Church, Sunday, Oct. 25.

Mrs. Pat Englund had knee surgery Monday, Oct. 26 at Trinity West Hospital.

Mrs. Rex Benson is vacationing in Parker, Colo. with her daughter, Steve and Kyla Lee and three grandkids. She went Saturday, Oct. 24 and be back Tuesday, Nov. 3 - about 10 days.
