All area schools are cancelled Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010

Residents woke up to a winter wonderland, with no wonder over the cancellation of area schools on Thursday morning. The recent single degree weather was capped off by an overnight warming to double digits and accumulation of another five inches of snow. The weather predictions are for more snow, another cold snap and blowing winds for the next few days.

But it sure is pretty!
